Harvard Law School Professor Lawrence Lessig spoke at length on 2-19-2013 on the subject of "Aaron's Law." Lessig had been a close friend and "co-conspirator" (he says) with Aaron Swartz, who recently committed suicide at the age of 26 as a result of an intense campaign by the Massachusetts federal prosecutor to railroad him into prison for up to 35 years ... for downloading files from JStor! Swartz was not only a "hacker" but also a gifted software system designer and political activist with a remarkable record of success in opposing and defeating what he and Lessig called "dumb copyright laws."
The recording quality is not perfect. You will hear occasional clicking, triggered by Lessig's hands on the podium.
